Visit the Visakha Museum, featuring maritime artifacts, historical weaponry, models of warships, traditional art, and archival photographs depicting the evolution of Vizag.

Day 2: Full-day excursion to Borra Caves, Coffee Plantations & Araku Valley
Breakfast at hotel. Drive through the beautiful Eastern Ghats, passing thick forests, valleys, and tribal villages on your way to Borra Caves.
Visit Borra Caves, a spectacular network of natural limestone caves, featuring vast chambers illuminated with colorful lights. Admire the dramatic stalactite and stalagmite formations, some resembling deities, animals, and mythological shapes formed over millions of years.
Stop at a Coffee Plantation in Araku, where you walk through lush plantations and learn about the cultivation and roasting process of Araku’s world-renowned organic coffee. Enjoy tasting a fresh local brew surrounded by greenery.
Continue to Araku Valley, a scenic hill station known for its cool climate, green slopes, viewpoints, and waterfalls. Enjoy views of the mist-covered hills and peaceful countryside.
Visit the Tribal Museum, an excellent showcase of indigenous culture featuring traditional huts, crafts, metalwork, jewelry, musical instruments, and displays that highlight the lifestyle and heritage of local tribes.
Explore gardens, scenic viewpoints, and optionally stop at Galikonda Viewpoint, one of the highest points in the region offering a dramatic panorama of the valley.
Drive back to Vishakhapatnam in the evening.

Day 3: Vishakhapatnam city tour & departure
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to visit Simhachalam Temple, an ancient hilltop shrine dedicated to Lord Varaha Narasimha. Admire the temple’s richly carved pillars, detailed sculptures, and impressive architecture. Only Hindus may enter the inner sanctum, and long queues are common, especially on auspicious days.
Continue for an excursion to Thotlakonda Buddhist Complex, a significant archaeological site perched on a hill overlooking the sparkling Bay of Bengal. The complex dates back to 2nd century BCE–2nd century CE and was once an active Hinayana Buddhist monastery frequented by monks and maritime traders.
Walk through the excavated remains of stupas, viharas (monk quarters), meditation halls, chaitya grihas, and dining areas. The peaceful surroundings and ocean views reflect the ideal setting chosen by monks for meditation and learning. Informational plaques help you visualize how the monastery functioned during its peak.
Enjoy a relaxed coastal drive along scenic beach roads, passing fishing hamlets, viewpoints, and stretches of uninterrupted sea before heading to the airport.
