Day 1: Arrival in Dharamsala
Upon arrival at the Dharamsala airport, you will be met by a representative who will assist you in transferring to your hotel. After checking in and freshening up, you will have the rest of the day to explore the town and its surroundings at your leisure. You can visit the local markets, try some local cuisine, and immerse yourself in the local culture.
Day 2: Dharamsala Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Dharamsala with your guide. Here are some of the places you will visit:
Tsuglagkhang Complex: This is the spiritual center of the town and home to the Dalai Lama's residence and the Tibetan Museum. You can witness the daily rituals performed by the monks and visit the museum to learn more about Tibetan culture.
Norbulingka Institute: This is a traditional Tibetan arts and crafts center that was established to preserve and promote Tibetan arts and culture. You can watch artists at work and purchase some of the beautiful handicrafts they make.
Bhagsu Nath Temple: This ancient Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to have healing powers. The temple is surrounded by scenic views and is a must-visit spot in Dharamsala.
Bhagsu: A small village located near the Bhagsu Nath Temple. You can explore the village and visit its famous cafes, restaurants, and shops. You can also trek to Bhagsu Falls, a beautiful waterfall located in the Bhagsu village.
