Day 1: Kolkata

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel. After breakfast, you have the rest of the day to relax and explore the city at your own pace. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 2: Kolkata

After breakfast, enjoy a full day city tour of Kolkata. Visit Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Netaji Bhawan, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Kali Temple, and other iconic landmarks of the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 3: Kolkata - Deoghar (Train No. 12023, JANSHATABDI EXP, HWH 1405hr / JSME 1817hr)

After breakfast, you will have the morning free for personal activities. In the afternoon, transfer to Howrah railway station to board the Satabdi train to Deoghar (Jasidih Jn). Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 4: Deoghar - Bodhgaya (268kms)

After breakfast, visit Baba Baidyanath Dham, a jyotirlinga temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and a shaktipeeth, a devotional shrine. Then proceed to Bodhgaya via visiting Nalanda, a hot seat of knowledge and learning established in the 5th century. Also, visit Vishwa Shanti Stupa, built of marble on a 400m high hill at Rajgir. Arrive in Bodhgaya and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 5: Bodhgaya - Varanasi (250kms)

After breakfast, visit Mahabodhi Temple, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana, Tibetan Monastery, Burmese Temple, Chinese Temple and Monastery, Buddhist Monastery of Bhutan, Thai Temple and Monastery, and many more. Later, drive to Varanasi and check-in at the hotel. In the evening, attend the Holy Ganga Aarti, a magical ritual held every evening at sunset on the banks of the holy Ganges. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 6: Varanasi

Early morning, enjoy a boat ride and visit the ghats. Then, visit Banaras Hindu University, Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, and Sarnath Temple complex including the Great Dhamekh Stupa. If time permits, visit Ram Nagar Fort & Museum. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 7: Varanasi - Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back to Kolkata/Delhi/Mumbai as per your flight schedule.
