9:00 AM, You will be picked up from your hotel in Nagpur and begin a scenic drive towards Ramtek, located around 50 km away. The route passes through rural landscapes and small towns, offering a glimpse of local life in Maharashtra.
Ramtek Fort & Hilltop Complex
On arrival at Ramtek, visit the historic Ramtek Fort, an ancient hilltop fortress associated with the Vakataka and later Maratha periods. Explore the fort ruins, stone pathways, and surrounding viewpoints, which offer sweeping panoramic views of the countryside. The site is also closely linked with Hindu mythology and is believed to have connections to the Ramayana.
Ramtek Gad Mandir (Ram Temple)
