At the heart of the complex stands the main temple dedicated to the Hindu sun god, Surya. 1:30 pm: After a satisfying meal, explore Rani Ki Vav, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated as one of India's most exquisite stepwells. Commissioned by Queen Udayamati in memory of King Bhimdev I during the 11th century, this stepwell is a testament to remarkable ancient engineering.
As you approach Rani Ki Vav, be captivated by its grand entrance leading to a descending flight of steps. The stepwell's dimensions are impressive, measuring about 64 meters in length, 20 meters in width, and over 27 meters in depth.
