Day 1: Kolkata – Mayapur (140 km)

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel/residence in Kolkata.
- Begin your journey towards Mayapur, located in Nadia district, West Bengal. Enjoy views of rural Bengal with lush paddy fields, village ponds, and temple spires as you approach the spiritual town.
- On arrival, check in at your pre-booked hotel or ISKCON guesthouse.
- After freshening up, begin your exploration of Mayapur, the birthplace of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the 15th-century saint and founder of Gaudiya Vaishnavism.

Visit Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir (ISKCON Campus)
- Visit the Radha Madhava Temple, the main shrine, with its towering golden dome and exquisitely dressed deities.
- Marvel at the Ashta-sakhi (eight companions of Radha) altar—rare to see in such grandeur.
- Explore the Pushpa Samadhi Mandir of Srila Prabhupada—an ornate memorial with a museum depicting his global spiritual journey through paintings and dioramas.
- Visit the Goshala (cow sanctuary) within the complex where you can see and even feed the cows—an important part of ISKCON life.
- Visit the ISKCON boutique stores for devotional music, books, handicrafts, and spiritual souvenirs.

Evening Arati Ceremony (Gaur Arati)
- Participate or witness the evening arati (devotional ritual) at the main temple. With conch shells, mridangams, and kirtans filling the air, it's a deeply uplifting experience.
- Dinner at Govinda’s Restaurant, which offers a wide selection of clean, sattvic vegetarian meals, or your hotel.
- Overnight stay in Mayapur.

 

Day 2: Mayapur – Kolkata (140 km)

After breakfast, visit the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP)—one of the largest Vedic temples in the world, currently under phased development.
o    Admire the massive dome (inspired by the U.S. Capitol),
o    View available exhibits that explain the Vedic cosmology and universal structure.
o    Visit the inner sanctum housing the deity of Lord Nrsimhadeva.
- Take a short walk along the Ghats of River Ganga, where locals bathe and boats gently float—perfect for quiet reflection and photography.
- If time and interest permit, you can visit a local village craft market or the Samadhi Bhumi of Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur, a revered spiritual leader in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition.
- Check out from your hotel and begin your return journey to Kolkata.
- Drop off at your hotel/residence by late afternoon or early evening.
