The Nashik Wine and Temple Trail is a fascinating tour that combines the region's famed vineyards with its spiritual landmarks. You'll also explore the ancient city of Nashik, including its revered temples and holy sites, like the Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. This tour is perfect for wine enthusiasts and spiritual seekers alike who want to experience the best of Nashik.
Day 1: Arrive Nashik
Upon your arrival at Nashik airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide and taken on a wine tour. Nashik is one of India's most famous wine regions, and you'll visit some of the most popular vineyards in the area. You will start your tour with a visit to Sula Vineyards, one of the most renowned wineries in India, where you will learn about the wine-making process and sample some of the best wines produced in the region. Your next stop will be at Soma Vine Village, a picturesque vineyard located in the heart of Nashik, where you will get to taste some of the most exclusive wines. Later, you will visit York Winery and Grover Zampa, two more famous wineries in the region. After an enjoyable day of wine tasting, you will return to your hotel for the night.
Day 2: Nashik Sightseeing
Today, after breakfast, you will explore the city of Nashik, starting with a visit to the famous Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines in India. It is said that a visit to this temple will wash away all your sins, and you will experience the tranquillity of the place. After visiting the temple, you will take a tour of the nearby markets, where you can shop for some unique souvenirs and local handicrafts. Later in the day, you will visit the Panchvati area of Nashik, which is a site of immense religious significance for Hindus. Here, you will see the Sita Gufaa (cave), where it is believed that Sita, wife of Lord Rama, stayed during their exile. You will also visit the Kalaram Temple, built in 1790, which is dedicated to Lord Rama.
Day 3: Nashik Departure
On the last day of the tour, after breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and be transferred to the Nashik airport for your flight back home. This marks the end of your "Wine Tasting and Temple Tour of Nashik".
