Day 1: Arrival in Paro - Transfer to Thimphu

Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, you'll be greeted by our representative, introducing you to the mesmerizing kingdom of Bhutan. Your journey to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital, begins with a scenic drive through winding mountain roads, offering glimpses of lush valleys and traditional Bhutanese villages. En route, you'll pause at the Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge, a historic bridge spanning the Paro Chhu River, built by the revered saint Thangthong Gyalpo. After settling into your hotel in Thimphu, the rest of the day is yours to unwind and acclimate to the peaceful ambiance of the city. Overnight stay in Thimphu.


Day 2: Thimphu - Punakha/Wangdue via Dochula Pass

After breakfast, your exploration of Thimphu begins with a visit to the National Memorial Chorten, a stupa dedicated to world peace and prosperity. You'll then marvel at the grandeur of the Buddha Dordenma statue, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world, followed by a tour of Tashichho Dzong, a majestic fortress housing the throne room and offices of the king. Day 3: Punakha/Wangdue to Paro
