Manali and Shimla Escapade is a 7-day tour package that takes you on a mesmerizing journey to explore the stunning beauty of the Himalayas. With a mix of adventure, spirituality, and culture, the tour covers popular attractions like Manikaran, Rohtang Pass, Hidimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Village, Jakhoo Temple, Chail Palace, and much more. You'll also have ample time to relax and shop in The Mall, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains. Overall, this tour promises an unforgettable experience of the scenic and cultural treasures of the Himachal Pradesh region.

 

Day 1: Arrival in Kullu and Visit to Manikaran

Upon your arrival at the Kullu airport, you will be greeted by your driver and guide. From there, you will proceed to the Kullu Valley, a beautiful region in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. You will then head to Manikaran, a small town located in the Parvati Valley, known for its hot springs and religious significance.

In Manikaran, you will visit several places of worship, including the Lord Shiva Temple, Sri Guru Nanak Devji Gurudwara, Lord Ramachandra Temple, and Kulant Pith Temple. You will also get to experience the natural hot springs that are believed to have medicinal properties.

After your visit to Manikaran, you will check-in to your hotel in Manali and spend the night there.

 

Day 2: Manali City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a city tour of Manali. The first stop will be the Hidimba Devi Temple, an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima from the Indian epic Mahabharata. You will then visit Vashisht Village, known for its hot springs and ancient temples.

Next, you will visit the Tibetan Monastery, where you can witness Tibetan culture and buy souvenirs. You will then visit the Manu Temple, dedicated to the sage Manu, who is believed to be the creator of the world according to Hindu mythology. Finally, you will explore Old Manali, a charming village with traditional architecture and cafes.

After the tour, you will have some free time to relax and visit The Mall, a popular shopping area. You will spend the night at the hotel in Manali.

 

Day 3: Excursion to Rohtang Pass

After breakfast, you will embark on an excursion to Rohtang Pass, a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3,980 meters. Rohtang Pass is famous for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

After the excursion, you will drive back to Manali and spend the rest of the day free to relax and explore The Mall Road. You will spend the night at the hotel in Manali.

 

Day 4: Drive from Manali to Shimla

After breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and drive to Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla is known for its colonial architecture, scenic views, and bustling markets.

After reaching Shimla, you will check-in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day free to relax and explore The Mall. You will spend the night at the hotel in Shimla.

 

Day 5: Shimla City Tour

After breakfast, you will embark on a city tour of Shimla. The first stop will be the Jakhoo Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, and located atop a hill with a panoramic view of Shimla.

Next, you will visit the Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India, located on The Ridge. You will then visit the Viceregal Lodge, a historic building that was once the residence of the British Viceroy of India.

Finally, you will explore The Ridge and Scandal Point, popular public spaces with a lively atmosphere. You will have some free time to shop and eat in The Mall before returning to your hotel for the night.

 

Day 6: Excursion to Chail

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to the scenic village of Chail, located at a distance of 45 km from Shimla. Visit the Chail Palace, which was built in the 19th century by the Maharaja of Patiala and is now converted into a heritage hotel. Explore the palace's lush gardens, which are spread over 75 acres and offer stunning views of the surrounding hills.

Next, visit the world's highest cricket ground, which is located in Chail and is a popular tourist attraction. Enjoy a game of cricket or take a leisurely stroll around the ground.

Afterward, proceed to Kufri and visit the Himalayan Nature Park and Adventure Resort. The nature park is home to a variety of Himalayan wildlife, including bears, snow leopards, musk deer, and barking deer. You can also enjoy various adventure activities such as trekking, skiing, and horse riding at the Adventure Resort.

Return to Shimla in the evening and spend the rest of the time at leisure. Overnight stay in Shimla.

 

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
