Day 1: Arrive Leh
Upon arrival at Leh airport, our representative will warmly greet you and assist with a private transfer to your hotel. Take the day to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude of this Himalayan town. In the late afternoon, visit the serene Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh and the snow-capped peaks beyond. Later, stroll through the vibrant Leh Market to shop for local handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, and souvenirs. End the day by witnessing a mesmerizing sunset from the historic Leh Palace, beautifully overlooking the valley.

Day 2: Leh
Enjoy a delightful breakfast at your hotel before beginning a full-day exploration of Leh’s cultural and historical sites. Visit the Leh Palace, a majestic nine-story structure that reflects Ladakh’s royal past and provides breathtaking views of the town. Continue to Shey Palace, once the summer capital of the kings of Ladakh, and admire its large copper-gilt Buddha statue. Next, explore Thiksey Monastery, known for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa and its 49-foot Maitreya Buddha statue. Conclude the day at Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley (140kms / 4hrs approx)
After breakfast, embark on an adventurous drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 feet. Stop briefly at the top for photographs and to enjoy the breathtaking views before descending into the lush Nubra Valley. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and freshen up. Visit Diskit Monastery, famous for its massive 106-foot-tall statue of Maitreya Buddha overlooking the valley. Later, explore the white sand dunes of Hunder and enjoy an optional camel ride on the rare double-humped Bactrian camels. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra – Pangong Lake (150kms)
After breakfast, continue your journey toward the enchanting Pangong Lake, crossing the scenic Shyok route that offers captivating views of rugged mountains and deep gorges. En route, stop at Thiksey Monastery and the high-altitude Chang La Pass, the third-highest motorable road in the world. Upon arrival at Pangong Lake, check in at your lakeside camp. Spend the evening admiring the lake’s magical blue hues, which change with the light throughout the day. The tranquility of the surrounding Himalayas makes for a perfect evening under a starlit sky. Overnight at Pangong Lake.

Day 5: Pangong Lake – Leh (140kms)
Wake up early to witness the spellbinding sunrise over Pangong Lake, as the calm waters reflect shades of gold and turquoise. After breakfast, begin your drive back to Leh, passing through scenic valleys and rugged mountain passes. En route, stop at Hemis Monastery to explore its beautiful murals, thangkas, and artifacts that narrate Ladakh’s deep-rooted Buddhist traditions. Upon reaching Leh, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the local market. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Leh – Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Take with you unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s breathtaking landscapes, rich monasteries, and unique culture that make this Himalayan adventure truly remarkable.
