Day 2: Kolkata Highlights and Cultural Heritage
After breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Kolkata. Begin with Victoria Memorial, admired for its grand architecture and historical collections, followed by the Indian Museum, which houses an extensive collection of archaeological, artistic, and natural history exhibits. Drive across the iconic Howrah Bridge and visit Mother House, associated with Mother Teresa’s humanitarian work. If accessible, explore Marble Palace, known for its distinctive architecture and art collection. Conclude the day with a visit to Dakshineswar Kali Temple, situated on the banks of the Hooghly River. Day 3: Kolkata – Bagdogra – Darjeeling
After breakfast, transfer to Kolkata Airport for your flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival, meet your driver and proceed to Darjeeling, enjoying scenic views of the Himalayan foothills, tea gardens, and winding mountain roads along the way. On arrival in Darjeeling, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the pleasant mountain atmosphere or explore the nearby surroundings at your own pace. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 4: Tiger Hill Sunrise, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and Toy Train
Rise early and drive to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Kanchenjunga Range, weather permitting. On clear mornings, enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the mountains. After sunrise, return towards Darjeeling and visit Ghoom Monastery, renowned for its Buddhist heritage and impressive Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to Batasia Loop, a scenic railway spiral offering panoramic views of Darjeeling and the surrounding hills. Later, enjoy a ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway toy train, subject to the operating timetable and ticket availability. Day 5: Darjeeling Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, known for their conservation efforts and Himalayan wildlife. Continue to Tenzing Rock, a popular rock-climbing landmark, followed by the Darjeeling Ropeway, subject to operating conditions. Visit the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre to explore traditional handicrafts, if open. Note: The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park are generally closed on Thursdays. Sightseeing should be scheduled accordingly.

Day 6: Darjeeling – Gangtok
After breakfast, check out and drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic journey through mountain landscapes, lush forests, and charming settlements, with views of the Teesta River along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you may explore MG Marg, Gangtok’s popular pedestrian promenade, known for its cafés, shops, and lively atmosphere. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 7: Tsomgo Lake Excursion
After an early breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, situated at approximately 12,400 feet above sea level. Surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery, the lake is one of Sikkim’s most popular natural attractions. Spend time enjoying the views and exploring the permitted lakeside area. Optional local activities may be available, subject to weather and local regulations. Return to Gangtok in the afternoon or evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 8: Gangtok Monasteries and City Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Rumtek Monastery, an important centre of Tibetan Buddhism renowned for its traditional architecture and religious significance. Return towards Gangtok and visit Bakthang Waterfall, Tashi Viewpoint, and Ganesh Tok, offering scenic views of the surrounding mountains and city. Continue to Enchey Monastery, known for its peaceful atmosphere and Buddhist traditions. If time permits, visit the Government Institute of Cottage Industries to explore traditional Sikkimese crafts, followed by Lal Bazaar, where local produce and regional goods are available. Day 9: Gangtok – Bagdogra – Kolkata
After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Bagdogra Airport for your flight to Kolkata. The journey can take several hours, depending on traffic and road conditions, so adequate time should be allowed for airport check-in. Upon arrival in Kolkata, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure for relaxation or independent exploration. Overnight stay in Kolkata.

Day 10: Departure from Kolkata
After breakfast, check out of the hotel according to your flight schedule. Your representative will transfer you to Kolkata Airport for your onward flight.
