Day 1: Arrival in Kolkata
Welcome to Kolkata, the City of Joy! Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport, our friendly representative will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in and some time to freshen up, the afternoon begins with a visit to Belur Math, the serene headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission, where you can admire its stunning architecture and soak in the spiritual ambiance. Next, explore the iconic Victoria Memorial, a majestic marble monument surrounded by lush gardens perfect for a leisurely stroll. Continue to St. Paul’s Cathedral, a Gothic architectural marvel, and then visit Mother Teresa’s House to learn about her compassionate work. The day concludes at the iconic Howrah Bridge, offering panoramic views of the Hooghly River, followed by a taste of Kolkata’s famous street food and sweets like rasgulla and sandesh.

Day 2: Kolkata to Sunderban National Park (130kms)
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, depart for Sunderban National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest mangrove forests in the world, teeming with rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, check in at your resort and unwind while enjoying the tranquility of the natural surroundings. The resort offers a peaceful retreat, providing a perfect escape from city life. In the afternoon, you can relax or take a short nature walk to experience the local flora. Spend the evening soaking in the serenity of the mangrove forest and preparing for the wildlife adventure ahead.

Day 3: Sunderban National Park
Embark on an exciting boat safari through the mangrove forests and winding waterways of Sunderban National Park. Witness the untamed beauty of the forest and keep a lookout for the elusive Bengal tiger, along with saltwater crocodiles, spotted deer, wild boars, and diverse bird species. Navigate through different islands and creeks, each offering unique perspectives of the region’s rich ecosystem. The peaceful waters and dense mangroves create a truly immersive nature experience. Day 4: Sunderban National Park to Kolkata (Drive)
After breakfast at your resort, bid farewell to the enchanting mangrove forests of Sunderban as you drive back to Kolkata. Along the way, reflect on the rich wildlife experiences and serene natural beauty you’ve encountered. Depending on your schedule, you will either be dropped at Kolkata Airport for your onward journey or at your hotel in the city. This marks the conclusion of your memorable tour, filled with spiritual insights, wildlife adventures, and cultural immersion, leaving you with lasting memories of Kolkata and the Sunderban mangrove forests.
