Day 1: Arrive Kolkata

Upon arrival at Kolkata airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax and acclimate to the city.


Day 2: Kolkata

After breakfast, set out to explore the vibrant city of Kolkata. Begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the Victoria Memorial, an impressive marble building that now serves as a museum showcasing the art and history of Kolkata. Continue to St. Paul's Cathedral, one of the most important churches in the city. Later, visit the famous Kalighat Temple, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali, and the Indian Museum, which houses a collection of over 100,000 artifacts from across India. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along the Hooghly River to see the famous Howrah Bridge lit up at night.


Day 3: Kolkata - Bhubaneswar (Flight) - Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bhubaneswar. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and proceed for a visit to Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves. The Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves are a group of ancient rock-cut Jain and Hindu temples located on two hills in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The caves are adorned with beautiful carvings and sculptures depicting various gods and goddesses.


Day 4: Bhubaneswar - Puri (60kms) - Dhauli, Konark and Raghurajpur

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive to Puri, a coastal city located on the Bay of Bengal. On the way, visit Dhauli, the site of the famous Kalinga War, where Emperor Ashoka renounced violence and embraced Buddhism. Continue to Konark to visit the famous Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its impressive stone carvings depicting scenes from Hindu mythology. In the evening, visit Raghurajpur, a traditional artisan village known for its Pattachitra paintings.


Day 5: Puri - Chilika Lake (55kms one way)

After breakfast, drive to Chilika Lake, the largest brackish water lagoon in Asia, famous for its migratory birds and dolphins. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to spot dolphins and visit the Nalabana Bird Sanctuary. In the evening, return to Puri for a leisurely walk along the beach.


Day 6: Puri - Bhubaneswar/ Bangalore (flight) - Bangalore

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Bangalore. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.


Day 7: Bangalore - Mysore (150kms)

After breakfast, drive to Mysore, known for its magnificent palaces and gardens. En route, visit the Srirangapatna Fort, the summer palace of Tipu Sultan, and the Ranganathaswamy Temple. Upon arrival in Mysore, check in to your hotel and take a leisurely walk around the beautiful Brindavan Gardens in the evening.


Day 8: Mysore - Shravanabelagola - Hassan (140kms)

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive to Hassan. En route, visit Shravanabelagola, a Jain pilgrimage center known for its 58-feet tall statue of Lord Gomateshwara. Later, continue to Hassan and check in to your hotel.


Day 9: Hassan - Belur - Halebidu - Hampi (440kms)

After breakfast, we will drive to Hampi, but we will make a stop at Belur and Halebidu, two historically significant towns known for their Hoysala architecture. We will visit the Chennakesava Temple in Belur and the Hoysaleswara Temple in Halebidu before continuing on to Hampi. We will arrive in Hampi by evening and check in to our hotel.


Day 10: Hampi

After breakfast at the hotel, we will set out to explore the ruins of Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will visit the Virupaksha Temple, Vittala Temple, Hazara Rama Temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, and the Queen's Bath. In the evening, we can enjoy a beautiful sunset at the Hemakuta Hill or Anjanadri Hill. Overnight stay in Hampi.


Day 11: Hampi - Lakkundi - Gadag - Badami (240kms)

After breakfast, we will leave Hampi and drive to Badami. On the way, we will stop at Lakkundi, a historical town known for its many temples and intricate carvings. We will visit the Kasi Vishveshwara Temple, Brahma Jinalaya, and the Manikeswara Temple before heading to Gadag to visit the Trikuteshwara Temple. We will then continue on to Badami, where we will check in to our hotel.


Day 12: Badami, Aihole & Pattadakal

After breakfast at the hotel, we will set out to explore the Badami Caves, a series of cave temples carved out of sandstone cliffs. We will also visit the nearby Aihole and Pattadakal, both UNESCO World Heritage sites and home to several ancient temples and structures. We will return to our hotel in Badami for an overnight stay.


Day 13: Badami - Goa (270kms)

After breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and drive to Goa, a former Portuguese colony known for its beaches, nightlife, and rich history. Upon arrival, we will check in to our hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore the city on our own.


Day 14: Goa

After breakfast at the hotel, we will set out to explore the sights and sounds of Goa. We will visit the Se Cathedral, Basilica of Bom Jesus, and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, all UNESCO World Heritage sites. We will also visit the Aguada Fort, the beaches of Calangute and Anjuna, and the colorful markets of Panaji. In the evening, we can enjoy a traditional Goan meal and some live music and dance performances. Overnight stay in Goa.


Day 15: Goa

After breakfast, we will have the day free to relax on the beach, shop for souvenirs, or indulge in some water sports activities. Overnight stay in Goa.


Day 16: Goa - Departure (Flight)

After breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and transfer to the airport for our flight back home, concluding our memorable journey through South India.
