Day 1: Arrival in Hyderabad

On arrival at Hyderabad Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist you with a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, the rest of the day is at leisure to relax and unwind after your journey. You may choose to explore nearby local markets such as the vibrant Laad Bazaar, well known for its bangles and pearl jewelry, or sample authentic Hyderabadi flavours at a local restaurant famous for its biryani and kebabs. Alternatively, you can spend a relaxed afternoon at the hotel, enjoying leisure facilities such as the spa or swimming pool. Overnight stay in Hyderabad.

Day 2: Hyderabad City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Hyderabad. Begin with a visit to Golconda Fort, an impressive citadel known for its massive stone walls, royal structures, and remarkable acoustic system at the Fateh Darwaza. Continue to the iconic Charminar, a historic monument symbolizing Hyderabad’s heritage, surrounded by lively bazaars and narrow streets. Visit the Mecca Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, admired for its vast prayer hall and imposing architecture. Later, explore Chowmohalla Palace, the former seat of the Nizams, where elegant courtyards, ornate halls, and royal artifacts reflect the grandeur of a bygone era. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Hussain Sagar Lake with views of the city skyline and the giant Buddha statue. Day 3: Hyderabad – Gulbarga – Bijapur (Approx. 385 km)

After breakfast, depart by road towards Bijapur, stopping en route at Gulbarga for sightseeing. Visit the historic Gulbarga Fort, an imposing structure featuring massive fortifications, ancient mosques, and palaces that highlight its medieval importance. Continue to the Sharana Basaveshwara Temple, a revered spiritual center known for its serene atmosphere and beautifully carved entrance. After completing the visit, continue your drive to Bijapur. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight stay in Bijapur.

Day 4: Bijapur City Tour – Badami

After breakfast at the hotel, begin exploring the architectural wonders of Bijapur. Visit the magnificent Gol Gumbaz, the mausoleum of Mohammed Adil Shah, renowned for its enormous dome and famous whispering gallery. Proceed to Ibrahim Rouza, an elegant tomb complex set amidst landscaped gardens, showcasing refined Deccan architecture. Visit the Jami Masjid, one of the largest mosques in southern India, known for its spacious prayer hall and impressive design. See the Malik-i-Maidan cannon, one of the largest medieval cannons in the world, symbolizing the military strength of the Adil Shahi dynasty. Continue to Bara Kaman, an unfinished yet striking mausoleum with towering arches, followed by a visit to Upali Buruj, a watchtower offering panoramic views of Bijapur city. Day 5: Badami – Pattadakal – Aihole Excursion

After breakfast, set out on an excursion covering Badami, Aihole, and Pattadakal, celebrated for their ancient temple architecture. Begin with the Badami Cave Temples, carved into sandstone cliffs and dedicated to Hindu deities such as Shiva and Vishnu, admired for their detailed sculptures dating back to the 6th century. Continue to Aihole, often described as the birthplace of Indian temple architecture, where you can explore numerous early Chalukyan temples showcasing experimental designs. Later, visit Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkable group of temples displaying a harmonious blend of northern and southern architectural styles. After the sightseeing tour, return to Badami for a relaxed evening. Overnight stay in Badami.

Day 6: Badami – Hyderabad (Approx. 380 km)

After breakfast, depart from Badami and begin your drive back to Hyderabad, passing through scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Hyderabad, you will be dropped at your hotel or transferred directly to the airport, depending on your onward travel plans. The tour concludes with memorable impressions of South India’s rich history, architecture, and culture.
