Day 1: Hubli – Badami
Upon your arrival at Hubli airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will drive you toward the historic town of Badami. En route, stop at Gadag to explore its ancient Hindu and Jain temples, including the remarkable Trikuteshewara Temple, showcasing exquisite carvings and architectural brilliance. Continue your journey to Lakkundi, a village famed for its centuries-old temple ruins and intricately designed step wells. Wander through the ornate temples, absorbing the rich history and cultural significance embedded in each structure. Conclude the day with your arrival in Badami and check in at the hotel, preparing for the adventures ahead.
Day 2: Badami
Begin your day with an excursion to Aihole, often referred to as the “Cradle of Indian Architecture,” home to over 125 Chalukyan temples dating from the 6th to 12th century. Visit the Durga Temple, Lad Khan Temple, Ravanaphadi Cave Temples, Huchimalli Temple, Meganagudi group, Gowda Temple, and Huchappayyagudi Temple, marveling at their intricate carvings and historical relevance. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and prepare for a thrilling jeep safari to discover the park’s diverse landscapes, from deep valleys and dense forests to narrow hill slopes.
