Day 1: Hubli – Badami
Upon your arrival at Hubli airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will drive you toward the historic town of Badami. En route, stop at Gadag to explore its ancient Hindu and Jain temples, including the remarkable Trikuteshewara Temple, showcasing exquisite carvings and architectural brilliance. Continue your journey to Lakkundi, a village famed for its centuries-old temple ruins and intricately designed step wells. Wander through the ornate temples, absorbing the rich history and cultural significance embedded in each structure. Conclude the day with your arrival in Badami and check in at the hotel, preparing for the adventures ahead.

Day 2: Badami
Begin your day with an excursion to Aihole, often referred to as the “Cradle of Indian Architecture,” home to over 125 Chalukyan temples dating from the 6th to 12th century. Visit the Durga Temple, Lad Khan Temple, Ravanaphadi Cave Temples, Huchimalli Temple, Meganagudi group, Gowda Temple, and Huchappayyagudi Temple, marveling at their intricate carvings and historical relevance. Proceed to Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and explore the Virupaksha Temple, Jain temple, Papanatha Temple, Galaganath Temple, and Sangameshwara Temple, each exemplifying a fusion of architectural styles and religious devotion. Return to Badami to visit the famous cave temples carved into sandstone cliffs, stroll around the serene Agastya Lake, and explore the formidable Badami Fort that overlooks the town. End the day reflecting on the incredible architectural and cultural heritage you experienced.

Day 3: Badami – Anshi National Park
After breakfast, drive approximately 225 kilometers to Anshi National Park, also known as Kali Tiger Reserve, set amidst the lush Western Ghats. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and prepare for a thrilling jeep safari to discover the park’s diverse landscapes, from deep valleys and dense forests to narrow hill slopes. Spot a rich array of wildlife, including black panthers, tigers, elephants, sloth bears, bonnet macaques, Indian bison, sambar deer, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy panoramic views of the Kali River meandering through the park, providing a picturesque backdrop for wildlife photography. Spend the evening immersing yourself in the tranquility of nature and the thrill of the wilderness.

Day 4: Anshi National Park – Hubli Airport
Start the day with an early morning jeep safari to explore more of Anshi National Park’s vibrant flora and fauna, capturing glimpses of elusive wildlife in their natural habitat. For adventure enthusiasts, optionally indulge in grade 3 white water rafting on the gushing Kali River, adding an exciting twist to your nature experience. Relish the scenic beauty, crisp air, and serene landscapes before concluding your Anshi exploration. After the morning activities, check out from the hotel and embark on the drive to Hubli Airport. Bid farewell to Karnataka’s wilderness, temples, and heritage, taking with you unforgettable memories of history, nature, and adventure.
