Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. After check-in, you can take some rest and recover from your journey. In the afternoon, you will visit two iconic sites in Kathmandu - Swayambhunath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple. Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, is a sacred Buddhist site with stunning views of the city, and Pashupatinath Temple is the largest Hindu temple in Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva. You will then return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu. Your first stop will be Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in South Asia and an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. You will then drive to Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its Newari architecture, where you can explore the ancient palaces, temples, and courtyards. In the afternoon, you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, which was once the palace of the Nepali royal family and is now a popular tourist destination with its intricate wood-carved structures and historic temples. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 3: Kathmandu – Pokhara (Flight)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Pokhara, a scenic lakeside city nestled in the lap of the Annapurna Himalayas. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel and have some time to rest. In the afternoon, you can visit Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal, and take a peaceful boat ride to the Tal Barahi Temple located on an island in the middle of the lake. You can also enjoy a leisurely walk around the lakeside area and explore the local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

 

Day 4: Pokhara Sightseeing

Early in the morning, you will have an excursion to Sarangkot, a popular viewpoint to witness the stunning sunrise over the Himalayas. On a clear day, you can see panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. You will then return to Pokhara and visit the Bindabasini Temple, a revered Hindu temple, and Davis Falls, a waterfall that flows into an underground tunnel. Next, you will visit Gupteshwor Cave, a sacred cave with impressive stalactite formations. In the evening, you will visit the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa located on top of a hill that offers panoramic views of Pokhara and the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

 

Day 5: Pokhara – Kathmandu (Flight) / Nagarkot

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will proceed towards Nagarkot, a hill station located on the eastern outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley known for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. On the way, you will stop at the ancient city of Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its well-preserved medieval architecture, intricate wood carvings, and traditional handicrafts. You can explore the narrow alleys, temples, and courtyards of Bhaktapur before continuing your journey to Nagarkot. Overnight stay at a hotel in Nagarkot.

 

Day 6: Nagarkot - Kathmandu

You will wake up early in the morning to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot. After capturing the breathtaking views, you will return to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is at leisure, and you can explore the city on your own or indulge in some shopping for souvenirs. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.

 

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, you will have some free time until your departure. Our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Himalayan Highlights tour.
