Day 1: Arrival in Kullu, Visit to Kullu Valley, and Manikaran, Transfer to Manali

Upon arrival at Kullu airport, you will be met by your driver and guide. Begin the tour by exploring Kullu Valley, renowned for its panoramic views of a lush green valley filled with deodar and pine trees and snow-covered mountain peaks. Later, visit Manikaran, a well-known pilgrimage destination for Sikhs and Hindus, situated in the Parvati Valley along the banks of river Parvati. After the sightseeing, drive to Manali and check in at the hotel. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

 

Day 2: Manali City Tour

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Manali, a high-altitude Himalayan resort town. Begin with a visit to Hidimba Devi Temple, an ancient cave temple surrounded by a cedar forest called Dhungiri Van Vihar at the foot of the Himalayas. Next, visit Vashisht Village, which features a pyramid-shaped stone temple dedicated to Sage Vashisht, and a water spring believed to possess medicinal values. Also, visit the Tibetan monastery, including Himalayan Nyingmapa Gompa and Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa. Finally, visit Manu Temple, a historical Hindu temple dedicated to Sage Manu, and take in the breathtaking views of the hills blanketed with lush green forests. Later, visit Old Manali on the other side of the Manalsu river to experience the old-world charm of small marketplaces, cafes serving continental food, and eateries. The rest of the day is at leisure, and you may explore the Mall Road. Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

 

Day 3: Manali - Rohtang Pass - Manali (55kms/ 1.3hrs approx one way)

Breakfast at hotel, excursion to visit Rohtang Pass a high mountain pass at an elevation 3,980 m (13,058 ft) on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. The pass provides a natural divide between the Kullu Valley with a primarily Hindu culture (in the south), and the arid high-altitude Lahaul and Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture (in the north). The pass lies on the watershed between the Chenab and Beas basins. On the southern side of this pass, the Beas River emerges from underground and flows southward and on its northern side, the Chandra River (flows from the eastern Himalayas), a source stream of the river Chenab, flows westward. After sightseeing drive back to Manali. Rest time free and easy to relax and visit the Mall Road. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 4: Manali - Kullu Airport (50kms) / Departure

Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule transfer to Kullu airport to board flight for Delhi.
