Explore the vibrant cities of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur on a private Golden Triangle Tour. Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy personal activities. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 2: Delhi

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a full-day city tour of Delhi. In Old Delhi, you will visit the majestic Red Fort, which was the residence of the Mughal emperor for nearly 200 years until 1857. You will also see Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the world built by Shah Jahan. Take a cycle rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, and visit Khari Baoli Spice Market, a busy shopping area full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry, and vivid saris. The narrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery, and traditional Indian sweets. Next, visit Raj Gath, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi where he was cremated after his assassination.

In New Delhi, visit Humayun's Tomb, the first garden-tomb in the Indian subcontinent and an early example of Mughal architecture commissioned by Humayun's first wife Empress Bega Begum in 1569-70. You will also see Qutab Minar, a 73-metre tall minaret that forms part of the Qutb complex, a fine example of Afghan architecture. Visit Lotus Temple, a Bahai House of Worship notable for its flower-like shape. You will also drive past President House, Parliament and India Gate, among other landmarks. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 3: Delhi - Agra (210kms)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Agra and check in at your hotel. Later in the day, visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, an ivory-white marble mausoleum commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal. It also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. You will also visit Agra Fort, the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638. Lastly, visit Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb, commissioned by Nur Jahan for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur (245kms)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned predominately red sandstone construction sprawling over a huge area. You will see the graceful buildings including Diwan-E-Khas hall, Jodha Bai Palace, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & Buland Darwaza. Next, visit Abhaneri, a small village popular for India's deepest, largest, and amazing step well & a Hindu Temple. Continue driving to Jaipur and check in at your hotel. In the evening, explore the local market of Pink City. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 5: Jaipur

After breakfast begin your day with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing the fusion of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. Continue to the Jaigarh Fort, built in 1726 to protect the Amber Fort and its palace complex, and offering breathtaking views of Jaipur. Next, visit the City Palace, a stunning example of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture that houses a museum showcasing Jaipur's rich history and culture. Then, explore the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory featuring 19 instruments for measuring time, predicting eclipses, and tracking stars.

Afterward, visit the Birla Temple, a beautiful white marble temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, and known for its intricate carvings and stunning architecture. Then, head to the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds, famous for its unique honeycomb structure and 953 small windows that allow the breeze to flow through. Finally, visit Johri Bazar, one of the most famous and oldest markets in Jaipur, offering a range of traditional Rajasthani handicrafts, jewelry, textiles, and more.

In the evening, immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and heritage of the Pink City as you explore its bustling bazaars and street markets, filled with colorful handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 6: Jaipur - Delhi (265kms)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time to relax and visit places of your interest with your driver. Later, drive to Delhi and have a direct drop off to the airport to board your flight for onward destination.
