Day 1: Madurai - Munnar (160kms/ 3hrs approx)

Begin your journey with a pick-up from your Madurai hotel or airport and drive to Munnar. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. Munnar was the summer resort of the British Government officials during the British rule in India. The natural beauty, calmness, and mild climate throughout the year make it a favorite tourist destination. The tea estates, hills, lakes, and forests within the Munnar range are truly mesmerizing. Later in the day, visit a tea estate and indulge in tea tasting. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Munnar

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Pothamedu, which offers an excellent view of the tea, coffee, and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The rolling hills, lush mountains, and breathtaking scenery here are ideal for trekking and long mountain walks. Next, visit the Mattupetty dam and its reservoir, a concrete gravity dam built between the hill ranges and used mainly for water storage for hydroelectric projects. Explore Eravikulam National Park, where you can observe the Nilgiri Tahr at close quarters. This park was established to protect the Nilgiri Tahr (Nilgiri Ibex) and is breathtakingly beautiful, easily comparable to the best mountain ranges found anywhere in the world. Visit the Mattupedi Dairy Farm, famous for the Indo-Swiss Farm, which is a highly specialized dairy farm that comes under the Indo-Swiss Livestock Project. Lastly, head to Echo Point, where you can scream as loud as you can and wait for a minute. You can hear your echo back! Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Munnar - Madurai (160kms/ 3hrs approx)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before driving back to Madurai. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport as per your convenience.
