Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar/ Rishikesh (220kms)

Your private tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel in Delhi in the morning, after which you will be driven to Haridwar/Rishikesh. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel and have some leisure time to unwind. In the evening, you will visit the Ghats and witness the famous Ganga Aarti, a Hindu ritual involving fire and music. The ceremony is performed at sunset, and it is a sight to behold. After the Aarti, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Haridwar/ Rishikesh

After breakfast, you will embark on a city tour of Rishikesh, known as the "Yoga Capital of the World". You will visit the Triveni Ghat, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet, the Laxman Jhula suspension bridge, and the Parmarth Niketan ashram, where you can witness the traditional Hindu ceremony of Hawan. You will also visit the Beatles Ashram, where the famous British band spent time in 1968 to learn transcendental meditation from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. In the afternoon, you will visit Kankhal Old Haridwar, which is home to several ancient temples and ashrams. You can also explore the local markets and enjoy some street food. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 3: Haridwar/ Rishikesh - Corbett Tiger Reserve (225kms)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will start your day with an early morning yoga class. Yoga originated in India, and Rishikesh is known as the Yoga capital of the world. After yoga, you will drive to the Corbett Tiger Reserve. The park is named after Jim Corbett, a legendary hunter who later turned into a conservationist. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel and have some free time to relax. In the evening, you can explore the area surrounding the hotel on your own. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 4: Corbett Tiger Reserve

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a morning and afternoon game drive safari in Corbett Tiger Reserve with a naturalist. Corbett is home to over 600 species of birds, along with many other animals, including tigers, leopards, elephants, and deer. Your naturalist guide will help you spot these animals and will also share information about their habitat and behavior. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 5: Corbett Tiger Reserve - Delhi (260kms)

On the final day of your tour, you will begin the day with a morning game drive safari in Corbett Tiger Reserve by Gypsy with a naturalist. After the safari, you will check out from your hotel and drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your preference.
