Embark on three days excursion from Bangalore to Nagarhole National Park, a perfect wildlife destination with some great wildlife sightings. It is one of the densely populated tiger reserve in India which offers wide diversity of flora and fauna. The forest is very thick and dense with number of streams passing through it providing good water sources for the mammals. The forest has good ratio of predator and prey, with good number of Tigers, leopards, Indian Gaur, Asiatic elephants, spotted deers, Sambhar deers, Wild boars, etc. Private round trip transfer from Bnagalore, 2 nights accommodation with all meals, and 3 gypsy safari in Tiger Reserve are well included in your package.
Day 1: Bangalore - Kabini / Nagarhole National Park (222kms/ 4hrs) (L,D)
Pick up from your Bangalore hotel or Bangalore airport and drive to Kabini/ Nagarhole National Park check in at resort. The park is located at a place where the Deccan plateau join with the Western Ghats. The parks altitude ranges from 680m to 1,454m. Later gear up for your first Jeep / Boat safari. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Kabini / Nagarhole National Park (B,L,D)
Early morning and afternoon jeep and boat safari in the national park. Top animals to spot here are Bengal tiger, leopard, sloth bear, ussuri dhole, antelope, barking beer, sambar deer, elephant and jungle bison. More than 250 species of birds are found here top birds to spot are blue bearded bee - eater, white backed vulture, greater spotted eagle, Nilgiri wood pigeon, red headed vulture, blue winged parakeet, oriental white ibis, Malabar whistling thrush, common osprey, duck and herons. There are 96 species of dung beetles and more than 60 species of ants in the park. Most interesting ant species in the park is the jumping ant, which can jump up to one meter high. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Kabini / Nagarhole National Park & Bangalore (222kms/ 4hrs approx) (B)
Early Morning optional safari in the tiger reserve. Post breakfast drive to Bangalore and drop off to your hotel or airport.
