Assam Tea Estate, Monasteries & National Park Tour will begin with your arrival in Dibrugarh. Here you will visit the tea estate, Buddhist Monasteries and Ahom regime monuments. Drive to Itanagar set in the foothills of Himalayas, surrounded by forests, orchids and ferns the city is home to medieval Ita Fort. Further drive to Kaziranga via visiting Tezpur, the historical town known for its ancient temples and ruins. Embark on a safari in National Park spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River. Its forests, wetlands and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses.

Day 1: Arrive Dibrugarh (by flight) 

On arrival at Dibrugarh airport transfer to hotel, check in. Dibrugarh is one of the major cities with massive growth in communication and industrial sector. Visit Jokai Botanical Garden cum Germplasm Center, which has some endangered plant species. Shrikshetra Dhaam, Lord Jagannath Temple which is the replica of the Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri Odisha, one of the most important temples in Assam. Koli Aai Thaan which is the spiritual centre dedicated to Koli Aai whose teachings still hold a large place in people`s heart. You can visit Sarumechlow and Bormechow Maidam which are the graves of 2 queens belonging to the Ahom Dynasty; Dehing Satra that holds the ruins belonging to Ahom Dynasty; the Buddhist Monastery at Namphake Village; and many more places like these. Lunch, dinner & overnight at hotel.

 

Day 2: Dibrugarh - Itanagar (190kms)

Breakfast at hotel. sightseeing in Dibrugarh if not completed on 1st day. Thenafter drive to Itanagar check in at hotel.

Day 3: Itanagar

Breakfast at hotel. Full day to visit Itanagar, the capital of the northeast Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Set in the foothills of the Himalayas, the city is home to medieval Ita Fort, yellow-roofed Gompa Buddhist Temple, and the Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum, which exhibits textiles and handicrafts. West of town is Geker Sinying, also known as Ganga Lake, surrounded by forests, orchids and fernsLunch, dinner & Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 4: Itanagar - Kaziranga National Park (200kms) 

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Kaziranga via visiting Tezpur, the historical town known for its ancient temples and ruins including Agnigarh Fort & Bamuni Hills.

Continue drive to Kaziranga National Park, check in at hotel. Rest time free to relax. Lunch, dinner & overnight at hotel.

 

Day 5: Kaziranga National Park

Breakfast at hotel. Two time gypsy safari in the Kaziranga National Park.

Morning explore eastern range and then in afternoon Western Range preferred for seeing big game like Rhinos, Tigers and Water Buffaloes. Kaziranga a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, crisscrossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and numerous small bodies of water is UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kaziranga hosts two-thirds of the world Great One-horned Rhinoceroses. Kaziranga boasts the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world and a declared Tiger Reserve. Kaziranga is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer. Lunch, dinner & overnight at hotel.
 

Day 6: Kaziranga - Guwahati (200kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Early morning explore central Range good for water birds. Kaziranga is recognized as an important bird area by Birdlife International for conservation of avifaunal species. The Park has more than 500 species of birds, 23 of them are globally threatened species. Kaziranga's forests is home to all the Green Pigeon species found in the Indian subcontinent, both the Great White and elusive Dalmatian Pelican, the Black Necked Crane as well as the Great and Oriental Pied Hornbills. Other interesting birds include Green-backed Heron, Changeable Hawk-Eagle, Pied and Northern Harriers, Lesser and greater Adjutants, Black-necked Storks, Grey-headed and Pallas's Fish-eagle (common), Swamp Francolin (common), Black-bellied Tern, Finn's Weaver, Slender-billed Babbler (rare), Grey-headed Lapwing, Black-bellied tern, Black-breasted Thrush, Yellow-naped Woodpecker, etc. 

Drive to Guwahati check in at hotel. Evening enjoy a magnificent sunset over the majestic Brahmaputra River on a cruise. Lunch, dinner & overnight at hotel.

 

Day 7: Guwahati - Departure

Breakfast at hotel, city tour of Guwahati, visit Kamakhya Temple one of the most venerated Shakti shrines. Navagraha Temple dedicated to the nine planets in the solar system. Umananda Island the smallest river island in the world. Umananda Island the smallest river island in the world, here man and the wilderness co-habit in peace and serenity. Umananda Temple a Shiva Temple built in 1594, by the Ahom King of Assam.

Later transfer to Guwahati airport to board departure flight.
