The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Beach Paradise are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rain forests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off limits to visitors.
Day 1: Arrive Port Blair
On arrival at Port Blair airport assistance & transfer to hotel.
Later city tour of Port Blair, visit the scenic Wandoor Beach (famous for swimming and coral sighting) and Chidiya Tapu (a small beach popular for bird watching and catching the sunset). Port Blair also has several museums the most famous of them being, the Anthropological Museum which sheds light protection of the local tribes of the Andamans, and the Samudrika Naval Marine Museum which aims to promote marine conservation. The Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park is situated to the west of Port Blair and is the oldest national park in the Andaman islands. It aims to protect marine life, corals, and nesting sea turtles and is revered among nature lovers and conservationists across India. Evening visit The Cellular Jail, an old colonial prison constructed by the Britishers during their colonial rule in India, the jail was used particularly to exile Indian political prisoners. The jail complex is now owned by the Government of India and it is recognised as the national memorial monument that showcases the life of prisoners during the British era. Attend Sound & Light Show at Cellular Jail where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Port Blair - Neil Island (by scheduled ferry)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the jetty to board ferry to Neil Island.
On arrival transfer to hotel check in at hotel. Day free & easy to relax on the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Neil Island
Breakfast at hotel. Day free and easy to relax on the beach. The most endearing feature of this island is its three sandy beaches, namely Bharatpur Beach, Sitapur Beach and the Lakshmanpur Beach. The forest cover has reduced considerably due to the cultivation of rice but a section in the north-west of the island is being preserved actively. The regions where the forest cover is lost has higher temperature than the region with enough flora. Due to its limited area, Neill Island can be covered with a simple walk. Tall three beaches are exquisite and extraordinarily clean and are well-connected to the mainland as well. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Neil Island - Havelock (by scheduled ferry)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the jetty to board board boat for Havelock.
On arrival transfer to hotel check in at hotel. Rest time to relax and unwind on the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Havelock
Breakfast at hotel. Sharp 7am ensure you are ready as the boat will leave at 8.30am for Elephant Beach. Embark on the most memorable trip for blue shallow waters the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. Its also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 metre. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. NOTE: (1) The trip may changed to light house subject to weather conditions and visibility. (2) Havelock Island Boat Owners Association is providing complimentary snorkelling activity at Elephant beach for 5 minutes. However activity will be subject to operational rules of the Havelock Island. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Havelock
Breakfast at hotel. Day free & easy to relax on the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Havelock - Port Blair (by scheduled ferry)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Jetty to board ferry for Port Blair. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Port Blair
Breakfast at hotel. Sharp 9am depart from Water Sports complex in a boat to see under water marine life and varieties of corals at North Bay. After North Bay (Snorkeling & Glass Bottom boat at extra cost), proceed to Ross Island (Wednesday Closed), the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime. The island presently houses the ruins of old buildings like Chief Commissioner House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, etc. all in dilapidated condition. Evening back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Port Blair - Departure
Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule Departure transfer to airport.
Assistance on arrival at airport.
