Day 1: Arrival in Chennai

Upon landing at Chennai airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your luxurious 5-star hotel. After settling in, begin your Chennai exploration by visiting the historic Fort St. George, a colonial-era fort housing a museum that chronicles the history of the British rule in India. Next, explore the Kapaleeshwarar Temple, a Dravidian-style temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and end your day with a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Marina Beach, one of the longest urban beaches in the world.

 

Day 2: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (120km/3hrs approx)

Post breakfast, journey to Mahabalipuram with a stop at the ancient town of Kanchipuram, famed for its temples and silk sarees. Explore Ekambareswarar Temple, one of the Pancha Bootha Sthalams representing Earth. Visit Kamakshi Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kamakshi, and Kailasanathar Temple, the oldest temple in Kanchipuram dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Mahabalipuram to visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, a massive open-air bas-relief, and Pancha Rathas, a group of monolithic rock-cut temples.
